(1) The Auditing Department of Guangdong Education Department hangs out its shingle at the inspectors’ or supervisors’ office of Guangdong Education Department. Being responsible for guiding and inspecting the audit within the education system in the whole province; conducting auditing supervision to the government departments and the units directly under them; organizing the economic liability audit to related persons responsible for the public institutions subordinate to Guangdong Education Department and directly under jurisdiction of Guangdong Education Department; conducting auditing supervision of major issues in the economic activities of certain work units in the education system; drafting auditing rules and regulations within the education system; training full-time and part-time auditing personnel in the education system.
(2) Assignment of responsibilities concerning university graduates’ employment administration.
Guangdong Provincial Education Department provides career guidance and service to university students before graduating from the university and to university graduates who have fulfilled the non-employment procedures; Guangdong Human Resources and Social Security Department is responsible for career guidance and service to university students after graduating from the university; Guangdong Human Resources and Social Security Department draws up university graduates’ employment policies jointly with Guangdong Provincial Education Department.
